Cambridge School Teacher

The Lyceum is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Cambridge School Teacher to join its teaching team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should be familiar with international teaching approaches and capable of delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons aligned with the relevant Cambridge curriculum and learning objectives.

• Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and independent learning skills.

• Use innovative teaching strategies, classroom activities, and appropriate learning resources.

• Assess students' understanding through assignments, projects, classroom participation, and examinations.

• Monitor individual student progress and provide constructive feedback and additional academic support.

• Create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates different learning abilities.

• Maintain lesson plans, assessment records, and student progress reports.

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' academic and overall development.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject or a related discipline.

• B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification will be preferred.

• Teaching experience in a Cambridge or international curriculum school will be an advantage.

• Understanding of student-centred, inquiry-based, and activity-oriented teaching methods.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to integrate technology and innovative resources into teaching.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and student learning.
